October Retiree Meeting

RETIREE MEETING 
MONDAY, OCTOBER 13
POST 15 AMERICAN LEGION
DECATUR, AL

At the end of our September meeting, I announced that we would be having hamburgers and cheeseburgers at our October meeting. We will have a variety of chips to go with the burgers. Our drinks will be Tea, coffee, and water. 

As always, any food item or dessert you would like to bring is appreciated.

If soda/cokes are your preference, you are welcome to bring them also.

We are receive feedback, there are several of our members that aren't taking advantage of their WEX $600 reimbursement benefit.

If you wish to use your $600 reimbursement for your Medicare Part B, (money deducted from your monthly Social Security payment each month), we will stay after the meeting to assist you with filling out your form.  

We normally have our Thanksgiving/Christmas luncheon at our November meeting, we changed the luncheon to the December meeting.  The reason for the change, our UAW TRUST HEALTH CARE Representative will be at our November meeting, and all the health care providers will be with the Trust.  We run into too much difficulty attempting to serve a meal with all this activity going on.  We hope you approve.

This Tuesday, September 23, there is a runoff election in the City of Athens for the District 3 city council position. One of our longtime friends and a lifelong resident of Athens/Limestone County is in this run-off, Henry White.  Henry is a friend to many of our members. Henry would be an outstanding, faithful Council Member.  

Henry has expressed great appreciation for any help or assistance we can provide, your vote, you contacting people you know in District 3.

The vote will be held at the Pincham-Lincoln Center
