Hope everyone is doing well. At our meeting, we have scheduled our Blue Cross and United Health Care providers to be at the meeting.  If you have any issues with coverage or billing, this will provide you with the opportunity to address them in person.

We have too many members having complications with filing their HRA benefits.  I have run upon several members, and on several occasions, I ask about our HRA or OTC benefits; the response I receive is a lack of understanding or confusion about the receipts to file. The HRA benefit for 2025 ($600) may still be available through April of 2026. It requires being filed as a reimbursement. You can use a copy of your 2025,1099R as proof to receive your reimbursement, Medicare Part B that was cut from your Soc/Sec payments.

This year, the UAW will hold our Constitution Convention. It is scheduled for the second week of June, in Detroit, MI.  After the Convention, the dates will be set to hold the elections for our International Officers. Our elections for these positions will be one-member, one-vote. The election will be conducted with mail-in ballots. If your address isn't correct with the International UAW, you need to make sure you get it corrected as soon as possible. See the enclosed method of taking care of your address correction, or give it to  me at the meeting.
