February Retiree Meeting

RETIREE MEETING 

MONDAY FEBRUARY 10

DECATUR, AL

We have our healthcare providers scheduled for the meeting:

Blue Cross, United Health Care, and Optum.

It you have any issues it would be a good time to address them. 

Hopefully, everyone is enjoying their OTC benefits. I have used mine at CVS and Dollar General (no problem).

It appears those who retired in 2006 and had the opportunity to check the box to return as a GM retiree, have received the $500. bonus as well as the $500. back pay.  The other issues continue to be outstanding; I hope there will be a resolution somewhere in the future. 

It appears our weather condition should be good for our next meeting.  I have pointed out our cancellation policy for extreme weather conditions is:  If Morgan County cancels school for severe weather we will cancel our retiree meeting for that day.  If they only have a two-hour delay we will not cancel.

Once again, I send out thanks to Lynn Layton Chevrolet for their ongoing support for our Retiree Chapter.  The only thing Lynn and Jeff have asked of us; is should we have a need for a new or used vehicle they ask for the opportunity to see if they can serve your needs. They also want you to know they have a first-class Service Department capable of providing excellent service.
