December Retiree Meeting

Monday 11:00 am
American Legion Post 15
Decatur, AL
This will be our last meeting of the year 2019, we have had several good meetings with great attendance since we starting our meetings at the American Legion. The accommodation and the friendliness of the officers and the employees of the Post have exceeded our expectations.

This is the 100 year of the founding of the very honorable organization the American Legion. If you qualified and have not joined I would encourage you to consider being apart of the worthy organization.
Once again Lynn Layton Chevrolet of Decatur witl be sponsoring our luncheon. We are greatly appreciative of Lynn and Jeff for all the interest they have shown in our Retiree Chapter. Normally at Christmas time Jeff shows up with a few extra treats. Maybe he will surprise us again this year. The only thing they have ever ask us in return is if you have a need for a new or used car give them the opportunity to serve you.

Remember we have the right to provide a friend or family member a number for the purchase of a new GM vehicle. These numbers can be obtained once a month. The number can provide the person you get them for a nice discount on the purchase of their new GM vehicle. Check it out or talk to the dealership about it. It is a nice benefit that many do not use.

We will not have our Blue Cross or Aetna representatives at this meeting, we will attempted to get them scheduled for our January meeting.

There is still a lot going on both in and out of our Union we will be discussing and updating you on at the meeting. Hope to see you there and please pass this information on to other members you are in contact with.
If you would like to bring any can goods for our annual Christmas collection we will see that they are distributed to the worthy organizations.

It is Christmas a special time to be thankful for the birth of our Lord and Savior. It is also a special time to think all those that have helped make our Retiree Chapter successful, a nice word of thanks to all our volunteers that serve your meal at the meetings would I'm sure be greatly appreciated.

In Solidarity
