October Retiree Meeting

Retiree Meeting

Monday October 8, 2018

11:00 am

American Legion Post 15, Decatur, AL

Our last meeting was a great success and well attended it exceeded our expectations since it was our first meeting away from our own Union Hall.

The Staff at the American Legion are very accommodating and good people to work with. If you are eligible and would like to be a member of the American Legion all you need is get an application and a copy of your DD 214.

We will be providing a lunch at this meeting (hot dogs, chips and drinks). We welcome those that bring a dessert to share with the membership.

We continue to express our appreciation to Lynn Layton Chevrolet for their support of our Retiree Chapter. Not only did Lynn help with the cost of leasing the American Legion Hall they continue to support most of the cost of our luncheon. We are working to see what all we can do for our future luncheons.

THE UAW HEALTH CARE TRUST WILL BE PRESENT AT THIS MEETING: TO PRESENT AND DISCUSS ANY CHANGES IN OUR HEALTH CARE COVERAGE FOR 2019. Also at the meeting will be representatives from: BLUE CROSS, AETNA and EXPRESS SCRIPT. If you have any problems or issues it would be a great time for you to address them with the respective representative.

We always look forward to seeing you at the meetings.

PLEASE PARK IN THE BACK HANDICAP PARKING AVAILABLE we do use the back entrance that is where the meeting room is located.

In Solidarity: Chuck
